Zambia Team
Commissioning
January 6, 2008
- Pastor
David started the prayer and
commissioning evening at 6 PM.
- Everyone
snacked on Zambian pastries (like
our fritters) during the evening;
Assistance kit gifts to be given
to Zambian women and students
were displayed.
- Libby
shared many surprising statistics
about Zambia's problems;
Tana responded by leading a
prayer time for Zambia;
Pastor Phil showed videotaped
lectures by three experienced
ministers to Zambia:
Glen, Kevin and Todd.
- Lisa
showed slides from her family's
visit to Zambia;
Tana responded by leading a
prayer time for the Zambia team
members.
- The
evening ended with a
commissioning by all praying and
laying hands
on the six team members who were
to fly to Zambia the next day:
Doug, Libby, Dave, Lisa, Phil and
Josh.
