1) Who You Were Before
Christ (Col. 1:21)
2) Who You Are in Christ (Col. 1:22)
3) Who You Will be in Christ

Guide for Discussion:
Spiritual Transformation in Christ – May 8, 2011
1) Describe where you think you would be emotionally, spiritually, and maybe
even financially and physically had God not rescued you from spiritual death
(Read Ephesians 2:1-3 [notice what you were] and then Eph. 2:4-10 – [notice how you
were rescued and what you were rescued unto] – Talk about the difference being
“in Christ” has made and makes in your life now.
2) Look up Titus 2:14; 1 Thess. 4:7; & 1 Peter
1:1-2. Discuss how you can apply these verses in your life this week.
3) Talk about the idea of your future hope in Christ.
Read Revelation 21:1-22:21. Discuss some of the differences you see between the
“already” and the “not yet” in your Christian experience. Spend some time
thanking God for the future “hope” He has prepared for you
