"Living Happily Ever After" - Psalm 1

"Living Happily Ever After" - Psalm 1
Sunday September 4, 2011                           Rev. Charles Worley

Psalm 1 is a picture of 2 people — 2 ways to live — 2 choices — and 2 ultimate outcomes. It is also a summary of the book of Psalms and even of the entire Bible. But most importantly, it is a good look in the mirror at yourself. As you read and study this short Psalm, see if you can see yourself in it.

(Ps. 1:1-3) OUR WAY – THE WAY   UP

(Ps. 1:4-5) THEIR WAY – THE WAY  DOWN

(Ps. 1:6) HIS WAY – SO     CHOOSE    _

The Big Idea: If you want to enjoy God's blessings every day, continually choose to follow and obey God's word and reject the way of those who decide to go away from God.
